FAQs
How many people can come with me to my appointment?
We recommend bringing 1-2 people with you. The maximum number of guests that our space and staff is able to accomodate is 5 per bride, however it is important to keep in mind that the more opinions present during an appointment, the more confusion and second-guessing there will be for you.
How can I be best prepared for my appointment?
It’s good to have an idea of what you like, whether it be a loose description, a couple screenshots, or a whole Pinterest board. If you plan to wear specific undergarments, shapewear, or shoes on your big day, brining these can be helpful when visualizing a dress in its final form. Lastly, a budget is good to have prior to your appointment because it can aid in relieving the stress of financing.

Can I bring champagne to my appointment?
For legal reasons, we cannot allow alcoholic beverages on the premises during store hours. If you’re interested in a personalized, after-hours experience, please see our Platinum Experience option, and feel free to bring your own bubbly!
Is it okay to bring children to my appointment?
Your well-behaved children are welcome at Downtown Bridal! However, keep in mind that the decision to bring them may result in their boredom or your diminished focus. In order to avoid a chaotic, unpleasant expereince for you, you may consider leaving the rowdier youngin’s at home.
Is it okay if I don't know my size in formalwear?
Absolutely! Formalwear sizes are different than “street sizes.” Giving a street size or a pants size prior to your appointment can be helpful to your consultant, but you will be measured and accurately sized for formalwear during your appointment.
If I see a dress on Pinterest can I order it?
If the dress you found is made by one of our designers, then there is a good chance that we can order it for you, but we cannot guarantee that we will have a sample of the specific dress in store for you to try on. We do guarantee, however, to do our best to show you similar dresses in your size in order to confirm the fit of the dress you wish to order. Unfortunately, if the dress you found is not made by one of our designers, we will not be able to order you that dress. Please also see Downtown Bridal’s Pinterest account for dresses by designers we do carry!
I've ordered my dress. When can I pick it up?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, vendor shipping timelines can be longer than usual. You will receive a call, text, and/or email when we receive your dress and are ready for you to try it on and pick it up. If you have questions regarding a specific item on order, please feel free to give us a call during business hours.
